Camp Rock filminin devamı “Camp Rock 2: Final Jam” oyuncusu M-Dot ile yaptığımız röportajın İngilizce’si aşağıda ve Türkçe’sini okumak için, TIKLAYIN. Matthew’a CR2 ile ilgili verdiği bilgilerden dolayı çok teşekkür ederiz!

- What’s your full name and your age?
Matthew Finley

- Can you tell us about yourself? Where do you live?
Well, I’m an only child born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. I went to school at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, and now I currently reside in Los Angeles. Music is my passion and I love playing pool!

- If you describe yourself with one word, that would be what?
Sincere.

- When and how did you start music?
When I was younger I played instruments with my dad and also played in the church, but I pretty much taught myself!

- Which instruments do you play?
My main instruments are the keys, sax, guitar and of course my voice! lol.

- Who’s your role model?
My dad.

- Who’s your celebrity crush?
I don’t have one, but there are so many people that I admire and would love to work with in the future.

- What’s your favourite groups (or singer)?
Mind Condition, Tony Terry, Justin Timberlake, Earth Wind & Fire, and Prince.

- What made you pick your name M-dot?
It’s nothing too serious…lol It’s just my first initial and a “.” but spelled out… I just think it sounds cool!

- Did you like Camp Rock 1? & Do you have a favourite song from CR soundtrack?
I love Camp Rock 1! I watch it everyday on repeat! I enjoyed all the songs on the soundtrack, but my favorite songs are “Gotta Find You,” “Play My Music,” & “This Is Me.”

- We know that you’ll be in Camp Rock 2. What are your feelings about it?
It’s going to be bigger, better and absolutely amazing… you will love it!!

- Can you tell us about Camp Rock 2? What’s theme of the movie? Tell us the story.
Well… Camp Rock 2 has a plot that was borrowed from Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet.” Some of the characters from the first Camp Rock return only to find out that some of the students and instructors have ditched that camp for their rival camp, Camp Star. There is a big secret at the end of the movie, but all i can tell you is that there will be a big musical showdown, and its gonna be crazy!

- Except you, who’ll be new face in that movie?
Besides me, there is a couple of other new faces in the movie including, Chloe Bridges.

- You’ll work with Jonas Brothers. What are your feelings about them?
The first time I met them was at their concert here in L.A., which was amazing, and I honestly feel that they are extremely talented gentleman, and are really down to earth.

- Do you have a favourite Jonas & Jonas song?
There’s something very special and unique about each one beacuse they all bring a very specific element to the group. Out of there many songs, I have to say I love “Fly With Me,” and “Poison Ivy.”

- Except Jobros, you’ll work with Demi Lovato, Meagan Jette Martin, Anna Maria Perez De Tagle, Alyson Stoner, Jasmine Richards and many more. Do you know them? Have you meet with them? What are your feelings?
I have met most of the cast, and they are all amazing individuals. I have also been working in the studio with many of the cast members as well, and they are all very talented and excited to be working on this new project.

- When will you start filming the movie?
We start filming this fall.

- Where will be the set of the movie?
The set is going to be in Canada.

- Can you tell us about your role in the CR 2?
I play a “hot shot” singer from the camp across the lake, Camp Star, who challenges Camp Rock to a musical showdown. I love my charcter because, even though he may seem a little arrogant at times, he is definitely focused on his music.

- Is that the last movie of Camp Rock or can we have another CR? Like CR 3?
You’ll just have to wait and see.

- Do you have advices for people who want to be singer, actor or actress?
Try to always stay focused, and progressive. Never, never, never give up and always look for improvement within yourself and your talent.

- Do you have some projects for your future? Where do you see yourself in 10 years from now?
I am always working on new projects… so yes!!! Definitely look out for more of Matthew “Mdot” Finley. In ten years though, I see myself continuing to stive for greatness within all aspects and genres in this industry… but I just want to be my best.

- What do you know about Turkey? & Have you ever think come to Turkey?
When you invite me i’ll be there lol… But seriously, I do look forward to perfoming there and all over the world very soon. I have always wanted to visit the Mediterranean Sea and Cyprus!

CHRISTA BLACK INTERVIEW (IN ENGLISH)
*Could you tell us about you and your life? If you have to summarize yourself in one word, what woud it be?
- Rollercoaster!
*Who was your role model before? And who is your idol now?
- Role model before….I would have to say Darlene Zschech from Hillsong Australia. She’s a worship leader who literally oozes love and kindness. When she starts to sing… I can’t help but cry, she’s so sincere and so powerful. Now… Still Darlene, but i would also say Bill Johnson. He’s my favorite pastor in california and has taught me so much truth. I like truth… I can’t live without it.
*How exactly you sterted to work with Jonas Brothers? When did you start to work with them and how does it feel?
- I got a call in january to play with JB in Nashville. They were in for a concert and wanted to add a ‘fiddle’ player and a steel guitar. I played with them that one gig, and Papa Jonas asked if i’d ever want to play with them again… And i said yes!
*Could you explain them in one sentence?
- What you see is what you get… They’re very genuine guys.
*We heard thet you work with Jordin Sparks. What do you think (and feel) about working with her and Honor Society?
- I’ve known Jordin since before she won American Idol. We both toured together with Michael W. Smith… So she’s been my little sister for a while. She called and asked to record my song ‘God loves ugly’ for her first album, and of course I said yes. I collaborated with her on writing ‘was i the only one’ for this lastest album… And the album is fantastic. i’m SO proud of her… Jordin is an amazing girl.
*Who is your favorite Jonas? ( if you have :D) and your favorite Jonas song?
- There is NO way i’d have printed that i have a favorite Jonas… Especially since they all have their quirks and personality traits that make them so amazing! Kevin is incredible about making anyone new feel extremely welcome… He has a very hospitable/sincere spirit… Joe is one of the funniest guys i’ve ever met and is extremely humble. He takes fame with a grain of salt and never acts more important than anyone. Nick is an incredible musician, constantly writing and creating, which is extremely inspirational. The group wouldn’t be the same without any of them… And i have the utmost respect for all three.
*You traveled to lots of beautiful country on world tour. Which was your favorite?
- Australia is my favorite… But mostly because i have so many friends down there. But i do love Switzerland… And China… And Brazil….. Oh Gosh i just love them all!
*Do you think that JoBros, or at least one of them, will ever come to Turkey?
- I have no idea, actually. but i’ll mention it!
*Have you ever considered coming Turkey?
- I would actually love to come to Turkey… I hear it’s amazing!!
*And finally, do you want to say something to Turkish fans?
Thank you guys SO MUCH for your love and support. I love how music unites different cultures, religions, races, nationalities all over the world. It crosses lines and barriers… And you make friends you might never have made. Thanks for being my ‘friends’… You have no idea how much i love and pray over you guys. My hearts cry is for women all over the world to know who they are under the mighty power of the one who created them. We were CREATED to reflect the beauty of God… It’s why every single one of us desires to be beautiful. When you find out how much he loves you… You can’t help but be changed… And begin to love others with that same love.

May you know the destiny on your lives to live BIG dreams. It’s what you were created for, sweet friends. (:
